Responsibilities

What You’ll Do 

\n

The CT Technologist is responsible for operating the CT scanner safely and proficiently. The successful candidate will be able to: 

\n
    \n
  • Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning
    • \n
  • Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow
    • \n
  • Transport patients to and from the department
    • \n
  • Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnel
    • \n
  • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system
    • \n

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical/Associate’s radiography degree required 
    • \n
  • ARRT required 
    • \n
  • Must have a passion for excellence 
    • \n
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • \n
  • Professionalism displayed through sound judgment, initiative, and flexibility 
    • \n
  • Good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills 
    • \n
  • Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions 
    • \n
  • Remain flexible, organized, professional, and able to analyze, and make sound decisions under stressful situation
    • \n
